The Journey

We arrived about 5pm at Achintee car park at Ben Nevis, we were eager to get started despite the downpour infront of us.
The only problem was that someone's hydration pack had sprung a leak and decided to empty itself into my walking boots and dry clothes bag. Meaning the only dry clothes I had left were on my body and the chances of them staying dry were not high, my right walking boot had a puddle in it and I hadn't even taken a step yet, even so the show must go on.

We officially started our little journey at 5.25pm on Saturday 23rd heading upwards.

The team was up and down Ben Nevis in 4 hrs.

After a bit of organising, a few toilet moments and some vain attempts at getting dry we set off for Scafell Pike in England.
The journey down was occupied by attempts to sleep that were disturbed by the joy that is the A82, the fact that everyone had just ran up and down Ben Nevis and music that was unable to go lower than T in the Park. The highlight of the journey had to be a boring petrol stop. The team watched as Russel the driver walked into pay for the petrol and then all watched him walk over to a completely different mini bus. Not only did he not notice but he got in and tried to drive away. That kept us awake for some more of the journey.

The team ran up and down Scafell Pike in 3 hrs.
The morning was cold but we were still in our t-shirts running up a rockery. the sunrise though was something to behold.

With that done and the weather looking good we headed for Wales.

The team sweated up and down Mount Snowdon in the rare time of 3.5 hrs.
There was a lot of walking past people as we flew up Mount Snowdon, compared to the lonliness of the last two climbs, this felt like walking along Suchihall Street. We had to queue to get onto the summit and then got a rival charity company to take our picture. Job done and home straight, also my shoes were finally starting to dry now.

We arrived at the Pen-y-pass car park at 3.25pm on Sunday the 24th.

We probably couldn't have timed it like it if we'd tried.
A thank you to all our sponsors and everyone that helped us on our challenge.
